I love my pellet fire I really think that Tasmania should get behind a new pellet mill being in the Huonville area and think of the jobs. Waste wood to be made into pellets and burnt. The price of buying wood has and is still rising now to find these pellets are a solution for a few things. How about we get behind this because Tasmania needs it.

We are very pleased with ours. We have been using a pellet heater for 16 years. Our thanks to Gene and Scott at the Launceston Depot, who always offer fantastic customer service.

We are using around 8-9 bags a fortnight at the moment at our coldest. Obviously less when its not so cold. We turn ours off when we go to bed and back on of a morning. If no one is home during the day we switch off also and back on when the first person arrives back home. If we are home all day and its cold it stays on all day. I just adjust the temperature accordingly to how cold it is. Love the heat compared to our heat pump in our last house and cost is similar
